Bowl the World 2012 Bowlathon

The Kawartha World Issues Centre is holding their 8th annual fundraising Bowlathon, Bowl the World on April 27th, from 7-8:30 pm at Lakeview Bowl on George Street in Peterborough. This year marks the 23rd anniversary for KWIC, a community-based and charitable global education and resource centre that promotes education, awareness and action on social justice and environmental issues in Peterborough and the Kawartha area. KWIC’s Bowlathon features fabulous door prizes donated by local businesses as well as a trophy awarded to winners of the bowling competition!

All proceeds from the Bowlathon support KWIC’s global education and youth engagement programs, such as the World Issues Café, Global Education Week and the Global Youth Day spring youth conference.  KWIC invites the Peterborough community to come out for this very fun family-friendly event to help raise money for a great cause!
