Join the Flint Corn Project and the Seasoned Spoon Cafe for a workshop on traditional methods of preparing Haudenosaunee corn. Nikki Auten from the Flint Corn project will lead participants in preparing and cooking traditional recipes together such as corn bread and corn mush. Participants will also get the chance learn a little bit about the Flint Corn Project and the history of corn as a main staple of the Haudenosaunee food system. We will of course feast on these nutritious and delicious dishes together before the evening is through!
