Trent Community Movements Conference: Migration- Exploring Roots & Routes February 2016

The Trent Community Movements Conference is an annual event organized by the Trent student-led group SAID. The event aims to provide a forum for students and academic scholars to discuss issues pertaining to international development.

The conference aims to explore the ways in which the issues surrounding migration relate to development in economic, political, social, and environmental contexts. The conference will include a wide range of perspectives in order to offer a multidimensional understanding of migration and the many issues related to it in the Global South and Global North.
