A day honouring the recognition of many women who became recognized as people or "persons" rather than having no status. It is held annually all over Canada to continue remembering the place we have come from and the areas we can still improve, to hopefully one day recognize all women as valued individuals. This event in Peterborough includes an amazing breakfast, with acts by the entertaining "Raging Grannies" and Susan Newman singing "Bread and Roses" - two acts you cannot miss! Come out, recognize and celebrate a monumental event in Canadian history.
