Red Pashmina Walk

The 8th Annual Red Pashmina Walk will be on April 22 at Emmanuel East United Church. Registration is from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.; walk starts at 2 p.m. Bring pledge sheets & money and wear your RED PASHMINA! Proceeds from the walk will go to Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (www.cw4afghan.ca) to support the education of women and girls in Afghanistan. To register for the walk and obtain a pledge sheet, please contact Daphne at 705-656-3820 or Peterborough@cw4afghan.ca. There will be light refreshments following the walk, and a prize for the highest amount of money raised in pledges.There will also be time to shop for Afghan needlework, and Red Pashminas.
