Saturday, Jun 25th, 2016 - 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Hosted by Maryam Monsef, MP Peterborough-Kawartha:

The science is clear: climate change is a pressing world problem, and we must act collectively, and act now.

As part of my quarterly Town Hall meetings in Peterborough-Kawartha, I will be holding a community conversation about clean growth and climate change.

On Saturday, June 25 from 1 PM – 3:30 PM at All Saints Anglican Church, I want to hear from you and share ideas about reducing and adapting to climate change.

The event will be in the Parish Hall at All Saints, located at 235 Rubidge Street at the corner of Sherbrooke St. Please note that parking is extremely limited, so we encourage active transportation! Walk, ride your bike, take public transit if you can.

For those who must drive, a few parking spots are available by entering the parking lot off Park St, just south of Sherbrooke. There are also three accessible parking spots off the entrance on Sherbrooke Street. We will have signs up to assist with parking. Entrance to the Parish Hall is accessible from the Rubidge or Sherbrooke street driveways.

All residents of Peterborough-Kawartrha are invited to attend this town hall. As we expect this event to be popular, please RSVP in advance by emailing or by calling (705) 745 – 2108.

Can’t make it in person? Share your ideas for addressing climate change with me by email, phone or social media, or add your suggestions here:

Let’s work together to make a difference.
