YOUTH AS AGENTS FOR CHANGE is a one-day training bringing youth together to explore youth activism, & develop leadership skills & network with their peers. There will be inspiring speakers, engaging facilitators and participatory workshops, a free lunch, and a chance to share in an intergenerational space with adult allies & role models at the end of the day. All youth that participate will recieve a certificate and a free bus pass.

Who Should Participate?
The funding for this opportunity is intended to engage youth age 14-18 who may be experiencing marginalization in our community, such as youth who identify as queer, trans*, female, Aboriginal, racialized, newcomer, or from low-income families. The workshop is intended as an intentional space to foster youth networking, leadership & skill development. We’re aiming to fill 20 spots.

Please note: Youth As Agents for Change has been cancelled and postphoned for the time being as we revamp this opportunity in the coming month. If you are interested in staying up to date and possibly being invovled in further youth leadership and training opportunities, please contact Rachelia at workshops@kwic.info
