As a grassroots, charitable organization
we make change happen through 3 key program areas:
Community Education
We connect our local community to global issues through community education programs, workshops, symposiums, panels, film, and artist presentations from local and international guests.
Youth & In School Programs
We deeply value youth participation and leadership in all aspects of our organization. We support youth through education, employment, mentorship, internship, and volunteer opportunities.
KWIC's Charitable Umbrella
We support, nurture and enhance the work of emerging community initiatives and innovative ideas under our charitable umbrella until they are self-sufficient.
KWIC connects people to global issues and local initiatives that can change how we understand the world and foster equitable and sustainable communities.
KWIC respectfully acknowledges that we live and work on the treaty and traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg. We are grateful to the First Peoples for their care for, and teachings about, our Mother Earth and all our relations, and we strive to honour those teachings.
