Ecological restoration seems to be a very abstract concept when it's just talked about in class. Therefore, a real interest goes unnerved in hearing about how it really gets done. This KWIC Conversation will be a follow-up from a panel of people who actively restore local ecosystems and will delve deeper into what came up at the panel. The conversation will be facilitated by Kira Nixon and Nick Weissflog. Kira is the interim president of the Society for Ecological Restoration - Trent University (SER-TU). Nick, a SER-TU member, had been looking forward to arranging the speaker panel on this topic for a year and is very happy there is a second part!
Please note that this event will be presented in a hybrid format both online and in person. If you would like to attend in person you will be visiting the KWIC EYE Centre in ESC B101 at Trent University. A Zoom link will also be sent out in advance.
