What: The Ecological Restoration Speaker Series will be presenting a talk by Sarah Kotsopoulos from the Toronto Region Conservation Authority who will be talking about the Meadoway project as a blueprint for an urban meadow restoration. The Meadoway is one of the largest scale urban ecological restoration projects in Ontario. This project in Scarborough is focused on restoring 16 kilometres of hydro-corridor to diverse meadow habitat. Specifically, Sarah will talk about the implementation of this project and how this project could be used as a model for other urban areas in Canada.
