Toronto-based chef, speaker, and activist Joshna Maharaj is inviting students and workers to a hands-on knife skills demonstration at the Seasoned Spoon, as part of her residency at Lady Eaton College. While slicing and dicing vegetables for the Stone Soup event taking place Tuesday, November 9th, participants will reflect on the question, “What impact has COVID had on the already precarious nature of food service work, and what opportunities are there for change in a post-pandemic food system?”

Spots are limited, and registration is $5. If this cost is an obstacle to attendance, please contact the Seasoned Spoon for other ticket options.
