Venue/Location
outside the downtown Scotiabank
We will be holding an URGENT vigil outside the downtown Scotiabank this Friday, March 21, from 3:30 until 4:45. We invite you to join us as we stand up for the Palestinian people who, since Monday, have faced one of the most vicious assaults on Gaza of the past seventeen months. This is after a two-week blockade of medicine, food, and clean water into Gaza, and electricity, causing more suffering and trauma to an already brutalized population.
UPDATE:
Since the so-called ceasefire came into effect on January 19th, Israel has repeatedly violated the agreement, killing at least 159 civilians in sporadic attacks even before this latest bombardment, and injuring countless others. Since February, Israel has blocked nearly half of the doctors and health workers from entering Gaza, limiting the already devastated healthcare system to deal with the enormous numbers of grave injuries resulting from Israel's brutal attacks.
